Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berhitung Melalui Permainan Congklak Pada Anak Usia 5 – 6 Tahun Di PAUD Pertiwi Kecamatan Peranap Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
This study aims to determine whether the game congklak can improve numeracy, to explain how to increase numeracy skills through games congklak, and to know the great improvement of numeracy skills through the game congklak in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Pertiwi District of Peranap Indragiri Hulu. Subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years in the District Pertiwi ECD Peranap totaling 10 people. Boy of 4 people and girls as much as 6 people. This study design is a Class Action Research. Classroom action research is a systematic study of the various acts or actions undertaken by teachers perpetrators ranging from planning to research the real action in the form of classroom teaching and learning activities to improve learning conditions performed. Numeracy skills of children improved from before, the first cycle and the second cycle. From the observation of early numeracy skills of children 26.25% with criteria began to develop. In the first cycle there is a 51.25% success rate with the criteria evolved according to expectations. In the second cycle there is a 78.33% success rate with the criteria developed very well. The increase in the first cycle counting capabilities with prior actions 95.24% and increased numeracy cycle I to cycle II of 52.84%. Improved numeracy skills of children in general amounted to 198.4%. Thus we can conclude congklak game can improve numeracy skills of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Peranap the District Pertiwi.
