Karakterisasi Tiga Varietas Nanas Asal Provinsi Riau Berdasarkan Penanda Fitokimia
Pineapple (Ananas comosus) is one of the family member of bromeliaceae which has high economic value and variations. Riau Province two different varieties of pineapple which are cultivated pineapple and wild pineapple. Cultivated pineapplehas been well characterized, while the wild pineapple has not been known good in features of morphology, anatomy and phytochemicals. The purpose of this research is to characterize the phytochemical content of various plant organs from three varieties of pineapples from Riau Province. The study was conducted from January to April 2018. Phytochemical contents tests performed include alcaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids/steroids, saponins, antioxidants and bromelin. Phytochemical test data were analyzed using tables and then described. The results of the phytochemical content found were alcaloidsfound in roots (3 varieties), flavonoids found in roots (2 varieties) and crown (1 varieties), terpenoidsfound in leaves (3 varieties), saponinsfound in fruits and crowns (3 varieties). Very strong antioxidant activity is found in the roots (2 varieties) and strong antioxidant activity is found in roots (1 varieties). The exsistence test of bromelin in all plant organs found in 1 varieties.
