Studi Ekstraksi Ion Nikel (Ni) Dari Limbah Lumpur Electroplating Menggunakan Variasi Ekstraktor Dengan Bantuan Microwave Oven
ABSTRACT
Microwave is one tool by utilizing the microwave radiation used in the field of analysis to help to control the heavy metal content in the waste of one of the electroplating industry waste by the method of extraction. Electroplating is a process of electrolyzing metal coatings through an electrolyte solution. The study aims to determine the ablity of microwave oven capability in extracting Ni in electroplating sewage sludge by various in comparation extractor with conventional extraction methods. The concentration of nickel (Ni) was analyzed using atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). Microwave oven was better instrument to extract nickel (Ni) than conventional extraction methods with optimum extraction time of 120 seconds. Extraction methods with microwave by using ammonium acetate better in extracting nickel compared hydroxylamine hydrochloride and acetic acid with an average value for ammonium acetate, acetic acid and hydroxylamine hydrochloride was 0,6643% w/w, 0,2918% w/w and 0,0845% w/w respectively.
