This study aims to determine the effect of world oil prices, Japanese GDP and Indonesia's GDP on Indonesia's bilateral trade balance with Japan. By using the 1999-2017 times series data from the Statistics Portal, the World Bank and the World Integrated Trade Solution. This study uses long-term time and short-term time to determine the effect of world oil prices, Japanese GDP and Indonesia's GDP on Indonesia's bilateral trade balance with Japan. The results of this study found that the variable world oil prices, Japanese GDP and Indonesia's GDP in the long run had a significant effect on Indonesia's bilateral trade balance with Japan. And in the short term there will be a balance between the bilateral trade balance between Indonesia and Japan. This means that changes in world oil prices, Japanese GDP and Indonesia's GDP provide improvements to Indonesia's bilateral trade balance with Japan.
