Analisa Kompensasi Atenuasi Menggunakan Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier Pada Jaringan Wdm Sebagai Piranti Penguat Optik Dalam Sistem Komunikasi
Communication technology is currently very rapidly growing that causes the need for data flow speed increase significantly. These needs could be met through the technology of a fiber optic. In addition, the usage of WDM networks can increase the bandwidth value since this network system can enter several wavelengths in a block diagram that is a multiplexer. This paper discusses a WDM that is used the optical amplifier EDFA to strengthen a transmitted signal with input signal delivered two channels in one axis a fiber optic. The methodology uses simulations with three types of variation. The results of the simulation showed the variations of this type of circuit, the circuit is a form of consumption preline most excellent attenuation of coefficient of 0.593 dBm/km , the value of frequency of 200 GHz has a attenuation coefificient dBm of 0.026/km and variations of long fiber optics length of 1 km has a maximum transmision.
