The research was conducted for 15 days (28 Jan-8 Feb 2017) catching operations in Surantih village sub-district Sutera South coast Province of West Sumatera, this Research aims to know the generally why trawl beach seine prohibited based on; 1) construction of the beach seine, 2) levels of environmental Friendliness, 3) feasibility of the venture. The methods used in this research is survey method. The research revealed that beach seine is financially feasible and environmentally friendly.
