Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Terhadap Loyalitas Kerja Guru SMP/MTS Kecamatan Tembilahan Hulu Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This study aimed to determine the Principal Leadership and motivation towards the work loyalty of the SMP / MTS teachers in Tembilahan Hulu sub-district of Indragiri Hilir Regency.This research used quantitative method. The subjects of this study were junior high school / Madrasah teachers, Totaling to 191 people spread out across 4 junior high schools / MTS in Tembilahan Hulu Subdistrict.The object of this research was in accordance with the research problem. The data were collectrd by distributing a set of questionnaire to the respondents. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data and the research hypothes were presented by using path analysis.
The results of this study indicated that was a positive and significant direct effect of the principal's leadership on teachers motivation, principals' leadership on loyalty, teachers motivation towards work loyalty and leadership of the principals and teachers motivation towards work loyalty. Based on the findings, the Education Agency should routinely carry out activities aimed at increasing the ability of teachers and the Principals and teachers should together with the teacher formulate the values, norms and beliefs applied in the school and the teacher should build an open culture among fellow teachers.
