Tindak Tutur Direktif Dalam Dialog Film Dilan 1990 Karya Pidi Baiq

This research is motivated with the aim of analyzing the form and function of directive speech acts in the dialogue film Dilan 1990 by Pidi Baiq. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study are viewing techniques and listening techniques. The data in this study were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The data of this research amounted to 116 data consisting of 34 forms of requests, 30 forms of orders, 26 forms of solicitation, 8 forms of prohibition, 1 forms of criticism, and 16 forms of questions. Based on data of function of directive speech act and each form of directive speech acts consisting of requests have the function of asking, expecting, begging, and offering. The command has the functions of commanding, order, instructing, and requiring. Invitation has the function of inviting, seduce, and pressing. Prohibiton have the function of prohibitions. Criticism has the function of angry. Questions has the function of asking.
