Sintesis Pirazolin Dari Kalkon 3-Kloro Inti Naftalen Dan Uji Aktivitasnya Sebagai Antibakteri
ABSTRACT
Pyrazolines have been reported to possess many of interesting biological activities
such as antimicrobial, antidepressant, antitumor, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory,
anticancer and anticonvulsant. Two of analog pyrazolines 1-phenyl-
3-(1-naphthyl)-5-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-pyrazoline (AR1) and 1-phenyl-
3-(2-naphthyl)-5-(3-chlorophenyl)-2-pyrazoline (AR2) were synthesized by
cyclization of chalcones and phenylhydrazine using glacial acetic acid as catalyst
with microwave irradiated. The stuctures of all compounds were characterized
based on the interpretation of spectroscopic data including UV, IR, 1H-NMR,
13C-NMR and COSY. The compounds AR1 and AR2 showed yield 54,27% and
34,19%. Antibacterial activity of pyrazolines was determined using agar diffusion
method against Gram positive bacteria (B. subtilis and S. aureus) and Gram
negative bacteria (E. coli and S. typhi). The compound AR1 not showed
antibacterial activity against tested bacteria. The compound AR2 showed very
poor activity against S. typhi.
