Pengobatan Tradisional Masyarakat Di Desa Lubuk Ambacang Kecamatan Hulu Kuantan Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

ABSTRACT
Research on traditional medicinal treatment was conducted in the Lubuk
Ambacang Village, subdistrict of Hulu Kuantan, Kuantan Singingi. This research
was conducted with the aim to explain how the medicinal system that underlie the
use of medicinal treatment in the society of Lubuk Ambacang Village and how the
response of using the medicinal treatment in the people of Lubuk Ambacang
Village’s point of view. In this study the author used qualitative research, is an
attempt to present the social word, and perpective in life, in the terms of concept
behavior, perception, and the question of human investigate. the techniques of
data collection in this research is purposive sampling where the number of key
informants numbering 3 people, informants numbering 11 people consisting of
the phisician one person and medical patient 10. In Data collection techniques,
the author used abservation, interview and documentation techniques. The
research proves that is the base of society in using traditional consisting are basic
step three of tis : (1) First step the consisting element about terms of have to
medicinal before. (2) Second step consisting for element medicine disease sort,
medicinal method, gather and magic formula of used, forbidden by taboo and sort
in the medicina. (3) Last step, in the step there is medicine extinction, the have
sense to portend that the disease to heal been, in order to do not have or suffer a
relapse again one disease, so do medice extinction, yet this medicine disease for
specific diseases. Anywhere, about response the society about medicinal
traditional there is positive viz : in mascular health easy more to service to have,
in the economic easy more cost, hereditary tradition According to the people of
Lubuk Ambacang Village, there are positive response of using the traditional
herbs, such as in the field of health, the economy and maintain the hereditary
tradition. But there is also a negative response, such as a disorted belief, believe
that shaman could cure diseases suffered by the patient.
