Pengaruh Pemberian Kompos Jerami Padi Dengan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Kakao (Theobrema Cacao L.)

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of giving rice
straw compost with NPK fertilizer and to get a good dose to increase the growth
of cocoa seedlings. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of
the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Riau from July to October 2019. This
study used a non-faktorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 8
treatments and 3 replications. The treatments given consisted og rice straw
compost dose of 0 g/seed, 50 g/seed, 100 g/seed, 150 g/seed with NPK fertilizer at
dose of 7,25 g/seed and 12,50 g/seed. Parameter obsevered were seed height, stem
diameter, number of seed leaves, leaf area, root crown ratio, seed dry weight and
seed volume. The data obtained were analyzed using variance and continued with
Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The results showed that the
application of rice straw compost with NPK fertilizer did not significantly
influence the parameters of the leaf area of the cocoa seedlings, the ratio of the
root canopy and the volume of the seeds, the leaf area and the volume og the roots
of the seeds and had a significant effect on the parameters of seed heigh, stem
diameter seeds, seed dry weight and number of seed leaves.
