Profil Pemeriksaan Mayat Kasus Korban Pembunuhan Di Provinsi Riau Periode Tahun 2015–2019
Homicide is a form of crime against humanity by killing a person's life. WHO listed
that the number of homicides in 2015 was quite high at 470,000 cases. In helping
determining homicidal cases, an examination of the corpse is required. This study
aims to determine the profile of murder victims who were subjected to post mortem
examinations in Riau Province period 2015-2019. This research was a
retrospective descriptive study by looking at secondary data from visum et
repertum victims of homicides who were subjected to internal and external body
examinations. The results showed 179 cases of homicide with the characteristics of
the victim were male (68.7%) and the highest age was in the range 26-35 years
(26.8%). The most common wound pattern was bruises (64.8%) with the most
common wound locations on the head (2.8%). The most dominant type of violence
found was blunt violence (38.0%) and the most common cause of death was blunt
violence (57.5%). The letter of request for visum et repertum were mostly camefrom
Pekanbaru city (29,1%).
