Pengaruh Aplikasi Pupuk Dan Agens Hayati Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum Annuum L.)
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect and the number of applications of biological fertilizers and biological agents, as well as the combination of applications of biofertilizer and biological agents for the growth and yield of red chili plants. This research was carried out experimentally arranged according to a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factor. The first factor was the number of biological fertilizer applications consisting of 4 levels, namely: P1: control, P2: 1 times, P3: 2 times, P4: 3 times. The second factor is the number of biological agent applications consisting of 4 levels, namely: A1: control, A2: 1 time, A3: 2 times and A4: 3 times. Observation parameters consisted of photosynthesis rate, chlorophyll content, plant height, dichotom height, flowering plant age, harvesting age, number of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit weight, fruit weight per plant, leaf pest attack intensity and fruit pest attack intensity. The results showed that the application of biological fertilizers enough to increase the growth and yield of red chili plants, by giving one time significantly increased chlorophyll content and flowering age, however, changes in the value of each observation parameter tended to be better with the application of biofertilizer three times in all observed parameters. The application of biological agents by giving three times significantly gave results that tend to be beter for each observation parameter, but did not significantly differ in dichotom height, fruit length, fruit weight, and fruit weight per plant. The combination of application of biological fertilizers and biological agents with three applications tends to provide better results for the growth and yield of red chili plants.
