ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and growth opportunity on
firm value using the capital structure as a moderating variable. The population in
this study includes companies manufacturing food and beverage listed in
Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2019. The sampling technique is a purposive
sampling method the number of observations by 22 sample companies
manufacturing food and beverage listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-
2019.The results showed that : 1) there is a positive and significant effect of
profitability on the firm value, 2) there is a negative and not significant effect of
growth opportunity on the firm value, 3) there is a positive and significant effect
of capital structure on the firm value, 4) there is a negative and not significant
effect of capital structure was not able to moderate the effect profitability on the
firm value, 5) there is a positive and significant effect of capital structure able to
moderate the effect growth opportunity on firm value
