Pengujian Model Bet (Brauner, Emmet Dan Teller) Pada Kesetimbangan Adsorpsi Ion Timbal (Pb2+) Dengan Hidroksiapatit
ABSTRACT
Efforts to reduce the concentration of these metals in the environment is one of the
most important efforts to do at this time. Various efforts have been made in
overcoming heavy metal problems such as photoreduction, ion exchange (resin)
methods, precipitation, electrolysis, and adsorption. One method that is easy and
environmentally friendly is the adsorption method using adsorbents as heavy metal
absorbers. Adsorption is a technology for separating metal ions dissolved in liquid
waste which is easy to handle and very effective. One type of adsorbent that has the
potential and is being developed is hydroxyapatite (Hap). The purpose of this study
was to test the equilibrium model of BET in the lead adsorption process using
hydroxyapatite. This study uses the Brauner, Emmet and Teller (BET) model. The
result of this research is that the correlation factor value (R2) which is close to
number 1 is at a temperature of 50℃, namely R2 = 0.871. The highest adsorption
efficiency value occurs at a temperature of 30°C with an adsorbent mass of 1.2
grams with a value of K=513,833.
