Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kepatuhan Pasien Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (Ispa) Dalam Mengonsumsi Antibiotik Di Beberapa Puskesmas Kota Pekanbaru
Adherence in consuming antibiotics prescribed by doctors is significantly important to
achieve optimal therapeutic effect along with prevent antibitotics resistance. One of the
diseases that require antibiotics for treatment is Acute Respiratory Tract Infection. Based
on the Pekanbaru City Health Service report 2020 Simpang Tiga Public Health Center,
Payung Sekaki Public Health Center, Garuda Public Health Center and Pekanbaru City
Public Health Center are the four health centers that have a high incidence of ARI. The
purpose of this study was to analyze the factors related to the adherence of ARI patients
in consuming antibiotics. This study is an analytic study using a cross-sectional design
using a total sampling method with 120 respondents. The research data were obtained
from guided interviews using a questionnaire which included 26 questions to assess
factors related to patient adherence in taking antibiotics and the Morisky Medication
Adherence Scale-8 questionnaire to assess patient compliance. Based on the results of
the study, it was found that 61 respondents (50.8%) had high adherence and 59
respondents (49.2%) had low adherence. The statistical test used was the Chi-square
correlation test which showed that knowledge and behavior factors had a relationship
with adherence to taking antibiotics (p 0.05).
