This research was motivated by the phenomenon at SMA Negeri 2 Pangkalan Kerinci about

student. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of
Pancasila and citizenship education on the formation of student discipline character at SMA
Negeri 2 Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency. The purpose of the study was to find out
whether there is an influence of Pancasila and Citizenship Education on the formation of
student discipline character at SMA Negeri 2 Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency. The
practical benefits as a reference for further research related to Pancasila and Citizenship
Education and the disciplined character of students in schools are the subject of further
study. The population in this study were all students, amounting to 750 people. Here the
researchers took 10% (75 students) using a sampling technique that is proportional random
sampling technique. Data collection methods used are interviews, observations,
questionnaires and documentation, this study uses simple linear regression analysis aims to
determine the effect of variable (X) on variable (Y). Based on the results of research on the
influence of Pancasila and citizenship education on the formation of student discipline
characters at SMA Negeri 2 Pangkalan Kerinci, Pelalawan Regency, it has an influence of
51.4%.
