Pelaksanaan Pembinaan Anak Berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2012 Tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak (Studi Kasus Di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelas Ii Pekanbaru)
ABSTRACT
Children are both a command and a gift from God Almighty, endowed with
intrinsic dignity and worth as full human beings. Children who commit crimes
must be placed in the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) where
they will be counseled. Coaching is the primary activity used to increase the
quality of children's piety to God Almighty, as well as their academic abilities,
skills, attitudes, and behavior, as well as their health. The Child Special
Counseling Institute (LPKA) is a place where children who have run afoul of
the law can get guidance and instruction. First, the Implementation of Child
Guidance Based on Law Number 11 of 2012 at the Pekanbaru Class II Special
Child Development Institute, was the motivation for producing this thesis.
Second, challenges encountered in implementing child development at the
Pekanbaru Class II Child Development Institute, and third, efforts undertaken
at the Pekanbaru Child Development Institute to improve child development.
Class II Pekanbaru Children's Special Guidance.
Because the author directly conducts research on the location or place
under investigation in order to present a thorough and clear image of the
subject being investigated, this form of research can be characterized as
sociological juridical research. The population and sample in this study include
all parties relevant to the problems researched in this study, the data sources
used are primary data, secondary data, and tertiary data, and the data collection
procedures in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Implementation of
Child Development Based on Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Child
Criminal Justice System (Case Study at the Pekanbaru Class II Special Child
Development Institute) was based on the pattern of skills, education, and
personality development. Where in skills development, it was found that there
were still minimal activities and only provided activities for traditional
kompang music and traditional Malay zapin dance. Then, there are still
obstacles in Child Development at the Pekanbaru Class II Special Child
Development Institute, namely Limited Human Resources, Inadequate
Facilities and Infrastructure, and lack of cooperation with related agencies.
