Hubungan Sanitasi Lingkungan Dan Perilaku Keluarga Terhadap Kejadian Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) Di Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak
One of the public health problems is disease which has factors, namely environmental sanitation and health behavior. Environmental sanitation that can cause the spread of disease vectors around the environment and health behavior is a habit of living to maintain environmental cleanliness and health, but many people in the area still care less about efforts to prevent environmental diseases. Poor environmental conditions have living conditions with low light intensity, there is ventilation that is not in accordance with health standards, does not manage waste properly, water reservoirs that are not closed contain mosquito larvae, hang used clothes, do not use insect repellent when on the move and sleep in the morning and evening which results in an increase in the carrying capacity of the environment against disease incidence. One of them is Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This study aims to analyze the relationship between water reservoirs, house ventilation, use of mosquito repellent, habit of hanging clothes, morning and evening sleeping habits against dengue fever in Sungai Apit, Siak Regency. The benefits of this research are for the community as information about environmental conditions and behavior in efforts to prevent DHF, for puskesmas it can be used as a basis for policy making and handling DHF in the area, for writers it can increase knowledge about factors related to the incidence of DHF. This research was carried out from February to April 2022, data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires and observation sheets at the research site, quantitative analytical research method with cross sectional design. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between water reservoirs and the incidence of DHF because some respondents who experienced DHF events from the reality in the field can be seen that many people use water reservoirs such as drums, jars, buckets and others. In open conditions, it is easy for the Aedes Aegypti mosquito to lay eggs and nest in the water reservoir. In addition, from the results in the field, there are also many houses of residents who do not suffer from dengue fever, but the condition of the water is not closed and left open, this certainly increases the risk of occurrence of dengue fever in these residents. However, they admitted that they used mosquito repellent which was applied to their skin every morning and night, so that even though their water area was not covered, they were still protected from mosquito bites. Based on the results of the study, it showed that there was a relationship between ventilation and the incidence of DHF based on many respondents who had inadequate ventilation at their homes, so that this resulted in mosquitoes entering the house and biting the people in the house. The existence of ventilation in a building in addition to lighting is also used as a place for air exchange and ventilation can be used by vectors to enter and leave the house. Mosquito net or wire netting is a protective device made of iron that is attached to the vent. The

use of gauze in ventilation is one of the efforts to prevent the transmission of dengue disease in which the use of this gauze aims to prevent mosquitoes from entering the house and biting humans. In addition to the use of mosquito netting for ventilation, several community habits in the field are also a factor in the spread of dengue vectors, namely the habit of opening doors and windows in the morning and afternoon. To prevent the entry of dengue vectors, ventilation should be lined with mosquito netting and not opening doors and windows so that the possibility of mosquitoes entering the house and biting humans will be smaller. In addition, this is also supported by the respondent's confession in the field that they do not use mosquito nets and do not use mosquito repellent and there are still many who hang used clothes in the room. Based on the results of the study, it was also found that some respondents who did not have the habit of sleeping in the morning and evening but still experienced the incidence of DHF, this was caused by other factors, namely environmental factors, where the environmental conditions of the respondent's house from water reservoirs and home ventilation conditions did not meet the requirements, where the water reservoir in the respondent's house looks not closed and there are mosquito larvae in it, besides the ventilation conditions of the respondent's house that do not use mosquito netting, this causes mosquitoes to freely enter the house and bite family members at home can cause dengue fever.
