Uji Fitokimia Dan Aktivitas Antioksidan Daun Tampoi (Baccaurea Macrocarpa (Miq.)Mull.Arg) Pada Beberapa Umur Daun Dan Pelarut Non Polar
Tampoi (Baccaurea macrocarpa (Miq.) Mull.Arg) is a member of the genus Baccaurea which is distributed mainly in the regions of Kalimantan and Sumatra. The use of tampoi can be done by exploring the potential of the B.macrocarpa plant as a medicinal plant. This study aims to determine the best type of non-polar solvent in extracting tampoi leaves and determine the content of secondary metabolites and analyze the antioxidant activity of young and old leaves of B.macrocarpa. The leaf extraction process uses non-polar solvents in the form of chloroform, toluene, and n-hexane. Analysis of antioxidant activity using the DPPH method (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazil). The data consists of qualitative data in the form of phytochemical test results while quantitative data is in the form of antioxidant activity test results. The phytochemical test results are presented in table form and then described the results and the use of munsell colour in determining color density. The results of antioxidant activity were analyzed descriptively with data in the form of a table of percentages of inhibition and IC50. The results of this study show that the best nonpolar solvent for extracting secondary metabolite compounds and antioxidant activity of tampoi leaves in young and old leaf types is chloroform. Young tampoi leaves contain more saponins and flavonoids while older leaves contain more tannins, alkaloids and steroids. In extraction with chloroform, young tampoi leaves have a stronger antioxidant activity of (IC50 = 18.62 ppm).
