Analisa Free Space Optics (Fso) Menggunakan Teknik Fso-Mimo Pada Cuaca Hujan Dan Berangin Di Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
The design simulation was carried out using optisystem software for Free Space
Optics (FSO) analysis using the fso-mimo technique in rainy and windy weather in
Pekanbaru city. Free Space Optic (FSO) communication is one of the fastest growing
wireless optical technologies. One of the impacts of using the atmosphere as a
propagation medium is a large attenuation. The atmospheric conditions are very
volatile and have many variables that have a direct impact on FSO performance. The
variables analyzed by the researcher are the rain variable and the windy variable.
From the simulation results, the four-channel FSO-MIMO system is able to provide
BER values < 1∙10-9. If the laser emits power up to 10mW at a frequency band of
1550 nm. Researchers conducted tests on wind weather conditions with a distance of
3.5 kilometers and a maximum distance of 8 kilometers and on rainy weather
conditions with a distance of 2 kilometers and a maximum of 2.9 kilometers.
