Pengaruh Iklim Organisasi Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational climate and work
environment on job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in Rimba
Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this
study is that teachers have not felt maximum job satisfaction. This is proven to be
unsatisfied with working conditions and satisfaction with support from colleagues,
in this study, analyzed by linking organizational climate and work environment.
An organization should be able to create an organizational climate that is able to
provide job satisfaction so that teachers can be motivated to improve their
respective work performance. In addition to the organizational climate, another
factor that affects job satisfaction is the work environment. The conditions of the
work environment require the adaptation of human resources both regarding
aspects of abilities, skills and behavior. The capabilities and skills in question
should be able to keep pace with the current developments and changes that
occur. With the creation of a good work environment, it will lead to job
satisfaction for teachers so that teacher performance increases.
Quantitative type, sample 159 teachers. Data were collected by using a
questionnaire to determine five choices and then the data were analyzed using
descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study found a significant
effect of organizational climate on teacher job satisfaction and obtained a
significant effect of work environment on teacher performance. In addition, there
is a significant influence of organizational climate and work environment on job
satisfaction of Elementary School teachers in Rimba Melintang District, Rokan
Hilir Regency. This finding concludes that the better the organizational climate
and work environment, the better job satisfaction. This research is expected to be
useful for improving job satisfaction with the organizational climate and work
environment in carrying out their obligations when carrying out learning
activities and fostering students at school.
