ABSTRACT
This research was conducted at BPJS Kesehatan Pekanbaru Branch Office. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in work stress before and during the pandemic, to determine the effect of work stress on employee performance and to determine employee performance before and during the pandemic. The population and sample in this study were all employees of BPJS Kesehatan Pekanbaru Branch, which amounted to 54 people.The variables in the research studied were job stress as an independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis, namely simple linear regression analysis and different tests using the SPSS program.The results showed that: 1). The variables of work stress before and during the pandemic were different at BPJS Kesehatan Kantor Cabang Pekanbaru, 2). Work stress had a significant and negative effect on employee performance at BPJS Kesehatan Kantor Cabang Pekanbaru 3). Employee performance before and during the pandemic was different at BPJS Kesehatan Kantor Cabang Pekanbaru.
