Pengaruh Peran Guru Terhadap Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa Man 2 Kota Pekanbaru

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in the field, namely at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of observations that there is a lack of spiritual intelligence of students, it can be seen from students who are negligent in carrying out prayers, speak harshly and do not show patience. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the teacher's role on the spiritual intelligence of students of MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. The benefits of this research are that theoretically, the results of this research are expected to be useful in writing scientific papers, especially with the title of the influence of the teacher's role on students' spiritual intelligence. Practically, the results of this research are expected to be an evaluation material for subject teachers in improving students' spiritual intelligence by creating new programs to better improve students' spiritual intelligence. The population of this study were students of MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, totaling 953 students. The sample in this study were 144 students using a proportional sampling technique, namely taking a sample of 15% of the total population. Data collection methods are observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and literature studies. Processing data with quantitative analysis techniques with a simple linear regression formula. Based on the results of research on the influence of the teacher role on the spiritual intelligence of students of MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the teacher's role on the spiritual intelligence of students of MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, namely 17.1%.
