Pengaruh Waktu Pengadukan Cepat Pada Proses Koagulasi Flokulasi Dengan Koagulan Aluminium Sulfate Dalam Menyisihkan Zat Organik, Warna Serta Pembentukan Flok
ABSTRACT
Peat water potentially be raw water because plenty of its availability, but peat water has characteristics that do not yet fulfill raw water quality according to PERMENKES RI Number 32 of 2017. Peat water has high natural organic matter and color, so it needs to be carried out with water treatment. One possible treatment is coagulation flocculation using aluminum sulfate which has a coagulant role in water purification. study use coagulation flocculation and sedimentation process with variation time off rapid mixing are 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, 120 seconds, 150 seconds, 180 seconds, 210 seconds and 240 seconds to reduce the organic and color parameters and formation of peat water floc. Results study show that peat water treatment with variation time of rapid mixing is 90 seconds and 60 seconds has influence the best decrease in water quality parameters and preliminar efficiency up to 95% of the natural organic matter, efficiency allowance color by 94% and formation size floc of 318.04 μm.
