Analisis Saluran Pemasaran Dan Nilai Tambah Agroindustri Gula Merah Aren Di Desa Rambah Tengah Barat Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
ABSTRACT
Palm sugar agroindustry is one of the agroindustries that processes palm sap
into brown sugar in Riau Province. The highest price received by consumers shows
the high costs and profits taken by marketers. The importance of the role of
marketing on farmers' incomes and prices received by consumers must be analyzed
through marketing channels for an effective marketing network. This study aims to
analyze the most efficient marketing network in the brown sugar agroindustry in
Rambah Tengah Barat Village, Rokan Hulu Regency. The method used in this
research is observation with qualitative, descriptive, and quantitative descriptive
approaches. Qualitative and descriptive methods are used to analyze marketing
channels. Quantitative descriptive is used in calculating marketing margin, farmer's
share, marketing efficiency, marketing profit, and added value. Palm sugar
marketing consists of two marketing channels. Channel 1 has efficient marketing
with a marketing margin of IDR 3,000, an 88% farmer share, 4.61% marketing
efficiency, while the highest marketing profit was obtained in marketing channel 2
of IDR 2,800. Farmers' added value is 47,69%, collectors' added value is 10.31%,
and aren shop added value is 3.3%.
