Studi Perbandingan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Yang Menerima Beasiswa Dan Tidak Menerima Beasiswa Di Prodi PPKN Fkip Universitas Riau

The background of this research is that researchers get statements from
students receiving scholarships. The motivation to study is that they want to
graduate at the right time because the term of the scholarship they have only
finances lectures during the eighth semester for the S1 program, so they don’t
went to miss or postpone just one semester for graduation. Motivation to finish
school on time. From this it can be seen that the motivation of students is well
formed to immediately complete their S1. While students who did not receive
research scholarships received statements that their motivation to study came
from their families, especially their parents , where students who did not
receive scholarships had the motivation to study quickly to graduate in order to
minimize costs incurred by their parents. The purpose of this study was to find
out whether there is a comparison of the learning motivation of students who
receive and do not receive scholarships in the PPKn FKIP study program,
University of Riau. The analysis technique used is the quantitative method,
namely comparative. The data analysis used was an independent t-test using
the SPSS program version 23. Based on the results of the data processing, the
sig value was obtained. (2-Tailed) 959. Because of significance > 0.05, it can
be concluded that H0 is accepted. This means “there is H0 comparison of the
learning motivation of students who receive and do not receive scholarships in
the PPKn FKIP University of Riau study Program”.
