Prarancangan Pabrik Cumene Dari Benzena Dan Propilen Menggunakan Proses Badger Dengan Desain Alat Utama Reaktor Transalkilasi Jenis Fixed Bed Multitube

ABSTRACT
Cumene is the general name for isopropylbenzene, which is an organic compound that is an aromatic hydrocarbon. Cumene factoy plant from benzene and propylene with a badger process is planned to be built in 2024 with a capacity of 10,000 tons/year and located in the Dumai industrial area (KID), Pelintung, Dumai City, Riau Province. The transalkylation process is the process chosen in the design of this plant. The stages in the cumene factory consist of 4 stages, namely feed preparation, reaction stage, separation stage and product purification stage. Fixed Bed Reactor is a reactor using a solid catalyst that is stationary and a gaseous reactant. The transalkylation reactor operates at a temperature of 350oC and a pressure of 25 bar. The Transalkylation Reactor has 27 tubes, 3.6574 m high, 0.3692 m outer diameter, and uses a skirt support type.
