Analisis Karakter Dalam Tradisi Bararak Tabak Di Peranap

The bararak tabak tradition is a form of wedding ceremony in Peranap. This study examines the implementation process and the values of character education contained in the bararak tabak tradition in Setako Raya Village, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out what characters are found in bararak tabak. The method used in this research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the tabak bararak process starts from three stages, namely the preparation stage, the manufacturing stage and the implementation stage. In addition, in the implementation of bararak tabak there are character education values that can be obtained including religion, tolerance, discipline, love of the land water, social care, responsibility, hard work, creativity, and mutual cooperation.
