Rancang Bangun Sistem Sensor Magneto Impedance Dengan Inti Multilayer Berbahan Vitrovac 6025z

The magneto-impedance effect is a promising candidate for magnetic field sensing which greatly expanded in electrical impedance experienced by magnetic field conductors under the influence of a magnetic field. In this research, a magneto impedance sensor system was designed which is applied as an anomaly detection in the human body (cardiac activity). The sensitivity level of the magneto impedance sensor is recorded up to the picoTesla range and the magnetic field produced is 100 pT. The level of feasibility of design of sensor system is determined based on the sensor's response to a magnetic field that is close to the scale of the earth's magnetic field (100 μT). The magneto impedance sensor was designed using a core layer made of Vitrovac 6025Z with a thickness of 0.04 mm and a width of 0.34 mm (Maximum Permeability 1.03 x 105) with a core layer varied using a multilayer configuration. The test magnetic field comes from a solenoid with a total of 596 turns 18 cm long. The calibration current used in the range of -1000 mA – 1000 mA with a period of 10 mA. The frequencies used in the sensor system test are 10 kHz, 100 kHz, 1 MHz and 10 MHz for each layer variation. The results of the magneto impedance sensor system test are in the form of a large external magnetic field, given calibration current, changes in the impedance value of the applied magnetic field and the phase difference. The response of the sensor system shows the most optimal level and approaches the range of the earth's magnetic field (100 μT) at the use of frequencies of 1 MHz and 10 MHz. The highest level of sensitivity of each frequency in the form of a magneto impedance ratio occurs in the 3-layer layer variation of 12.6% and 18.8%, respectively. The increase in the magneto impedance ratio is directly proportional to the sensitivity level of the sensor system.
