Kontribusi Ekonomi Dan Saluran Pemasaran Damar Dari Kawasan Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo Kabupaten Pelalawan
ABSTRACT
Indonesia is one of the resin producing countries in the world. Pelalawan Regency is one of the districts in Riau Province that produces resin from within the Tesso Nilo National Park (TNTN) area. The main resin product utilized by the surrounding community is rock resin. The resin obtained by the community is one of the sources of income for the community around the forest, especially the Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village community. This study aims to determine the marketing channels of resin, analyze the marketing margins of resin, and analyze the economic contribution of resin to income. This research was conducted in July-August 2022 in Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency, where some of the people utilize resin from the Teso Nilo National Park area. The research used a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. Informants were determined using purposive sampling method, namely 26 collector Informants were determined using purposive sampling method, namely 21 resin collector farmers and 5 resin collecting traders from the TNTN area. Data were analyzed descriptively supported by quantitative data. The results showed that there were 2 marketing channels for resin in Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village where Channel I: collectors→ village collectors→ traders in Sorek (the capital of Pangkalan Kuras Subdistrict), and Channel II: collectors→ village collectors→ traders in Medan City Mgm of resin marketing to the level of collectors in Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village is Rp 1.160/kg. Damar contributes to the income of the collection community by 30% and the collecting traders by 22% in Lubuk Kembang Bunga Village.
