ABSTRACT
Gouramy cultivation requires feed with quality and quantity that meets the needs of fish. Nowadays the price of fish feed is very expensive, because it uses imported fish meal as the main protein source. To reduce the price of feed, the use of fish meal should be replaced with local ingredients that were relatively inexpensive and good quality, such as chicory and cabbage vegetable waste flour. This research was conducted from October 2021 to January 2022 at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. This study aims to determine the effect of the used of chicory vegetable waste flour and fermented cabbage in feed on the growth of O. gouramy. The O. gouramy used in this study were 4-6 cm and 2-4 g. The method used in this study was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications.
