Pertumbuhan Dan Produktivitas Kacang Kedelai (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill) Dengan Pemberian Azotobactersp. Dan Pupuk Nitrogen
ABSTRACT
This research aims to study the response of soybean plants to the application of Azotobacter sp. and nitrogen fertilization time, and get a combination of Azotobacter sp. with a good nitrogen fertilization time to increase the growth and production of soybean plants. The first factor was Azotobacter sp. concentration, consisting of 3 levels: without Azotobacter sp., Azotobacter sp. (10 ml.l-1) and Azotobacter sp. (20 ml.l-1). The second factor is the application of urea fertilizer, consisting of 3 levels, namely: early planting (100 kg.ha-1), 35 HST (100 kg.ha-1) and early planting 50 kg.ha-1 and 35 HST 50 kg.ha-1. The parameters observed were percentage of effective root nodules, plant height, number of productive branches, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant, percentage of pods, seed weight per plant, seed weight per m2, 100 seed weight, harvest index and seed protein content. The results showed that the interaction between the application of Azotobacter sp. and fertilization time and the single factor of Azotobacter sp. had an effect on plant height parameters. The single factor of nitrogen fertilization time affected the parameters of percentage of effective root nodules,plant height, number of pods per plant, percentage of pods, seed weight per plant, seed weight per m2, and weight of 100 seeds. The combination of treatment of Azotobacter sp. 10 ml.l-1 and two times of nitrogen fertilization resulted in good production.
