Kesiapan Guru Menggunakan Teknologi Informasi Dan Komunikasi (TIK) Dalam Pembelajaran PAUD Di TK Se-Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
Based on the results of observations and observations made at several
kindergarten school institutions in Rokan Hilir, it can be stated that: 1) teachers
are not proficient in using laptops, 2) teachers do not understand how to use some
of the applications that will be used for online learning, 3) teachers not proficient
in using ICT in the process of making learning materials, and 4) teachers are
often overwhelmed by technical errors or other disturbances in online learning.
The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the level of readiness of
teachers to use ICT media in early childhood learning in kindergartens
throughout Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency.
Based on the stated research objectives, this type of research is a mixed
method using a sequential explanatory research design. The sequential
explanatory approach is a research design that describes two research methods
whose results are expected to provide in-depth and theoretical understanding
(explanatory research). This study used a quantitative phase, namely a
questionnaire and a qualitative phase, namely observation, interviews, then
supported by data documentation. The population in this study were kindergarten
teachers in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, totaling 170 people. The
sample in this study were kindergarten teachers in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir
Regency, totaling 63 people. Samples were taken using purposive random
sampling.
So based on research data, it can be concluded that teachers are not ready
to use ICT in PAUD learning in Kindergartens throughout Bangko District,
Rokan Hilir Regency.
