Aplikasi Kombinasi Abu Boiler Dengan Pupuk Npk Pada Tanaman Terung (Solanum Melongena L.)
ABSTRACT
This research aims to analyze the combination of application boiler ash
with NPK fertilizer and get the best combination for the growth and production of
eggplant plants (Solanum melongena L.). The research was conducted
experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of eight
treatment combinations with three replications so that 24 experimental units were
obtained. The treatments of boiler ash combination with NPK fertilizer were 0
kg.m-2 with 0.04 0 kg.m-2, 0 kg.m-2 with 0.08 kg.m-2, 1 kg.m-2 with 0.04 kg.m-2, 1
kg.m-2 with 0.08 kg.m-2, 1.5 kg.m-2 with 0.04 kg.m-2, 1.5 kg.m-2 with 0.08 kg.m-2,
2 kg.m-2 with 0.04 kg.m-2, 2 kg.m-2 with 0.08 kg.m-2. The parameters observed
were soil pH, plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, number of fruits, weight
per fruit, the weight of fruits per plot, and dry stover weight. Data from variance
analysis were further analyzed using the DMRT test at the 5% level to determine
differences in each treatment. The results showed that the treatment of the
combination of application boiler ash 2 kg.m-2 with NPK fertilizer 0.08 kg.m-2 had
an effect on accelerating the flowering age and harvest age of eggplant plants and
could increase soil pH, number of fruits, the weight of fruit per plot, and dry stalk
weight of eggplant plants but had no effect on plant height, and weight per fruit.
This combination treatment also increased the fruit weight per plot by 24.7%
compared to the combined application treatment of 0 kg.m-2 boiler ash with 0.04
kg.m-2 NPK fertilizer.
