Dynamic Governance Pada Pengelolaan Informasi Publik Di Provinsi Riau

This research is motivated by the need for transparent and accountable public
information management using the Dynamic Governance theory as an indicator. This
becomes crucial for analysis in the face of the increasing cases of corruption and
declining bureaucratic performance, particularly within the government of Riau
Province.
The aim of this study are to identify the current conditions, analyze the forms
of Dynamic Governance, and identify challenges in public information management
in Riau Province. This is accomplished through the utilization of a qualitative
research method aimed at delving deeper into the discussion.
Therefore, the research findings indicate that Riau Province has successfully
implemented public information management in accordance with applicable rules
and procedures. The Public Information and Documentation Officer (PPID) as the
primary custodian of public information in the region, the Riau Province Information
and Communication Office (Diskominfotik), and the Information Commission (KI)
play crucial roles in ensuring transparent public information services accessible
online to the public. The implementation of Dynamic Governance in public
information management in Riau Province has been successful and has had a positive
impact. Analysis of the Culture, Capabilities, and Change indicators demonstrates
significant changes in public information management, making it more transparent
and accessible to the public. However, several challenges are encountered in public
information management in Riau Province. These challenges include ensuring
sustained transparency and accessibility of information, preparing to implement
PPIDs to handle public information requests, enhancing coordination and
collaboration among relevant agencies, increasing public information literacy
awareness, and maximizing available resources and infrastructure.
