Pengembangan Aplikasi Virtual Reality Objek Sejarah Di Kuantan Singingi Sebagai Media Belajar Sejarah Lokal Kelas X SMKN 1 Benai
This research aims to develop learning media that will be used when teaching history
at school. This research contains the steps taken to create an application as an effective
learning media for use in learning. This research is development research using the ADDIE
method. The product developed is an application-based application or can also be accessed
via the website, namely a Virtual Reality application which contains historical objects in
Kuantan Singingi. The subject of the trial is to see how students' knowledge develops after
using the application, but before being used in learning, the application is first validated by
validators consisting of media validators and material validators which are measured using a
Linkert scale. Apart from that, the students who assessed the application consisted of a small
group of 12 people and a large group, namely class X TKJ 1 with a total of 32 students. Data
was collected descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the research show
that in the trials carried out, a score was obtained with a very good predicate and was suitable
for use as a learning medium in schools in history lessons, more specifically in historical
research material.
