Sejarah Perkembangan Pondok Modern Nurul Hidayah (PMNH) Dalam Upaya Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Islam Bagi Masyarakat Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis Tahun 1989-2005

This thesis is entitled “History Of Development Of Modern Boarding
School Nurul Hidayah (PMNH) In An Effort To Instill Islamic Values For The
Community Of Bantan District In Bengkalis Regency 1989-2005”. The purpose
of this study is to find out how the establishment dan the development of Modern
Boarding School Nurul Hidayah (PMNH), also effort and the impact Of Modern
Boarding School Nurul Hidayah (PMNH) In An Effort To Instill Islamic Values
For The Community Of Bantan, Bengkalis Regency. This study uses a historical
approach, data collection methods with field studies in the form of interviews and
archive and document studies. This research was conducted at Modern Boarding
School Nurul Hidayah (PMNH) at Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. The data
collection process starts from the heuristic, the data that has been obtained is
carried out by the source testing process (verification), then the process of
interpreting historical facts (interpretation) is carried out, and the final stage is in
the form of writing history (historiography). The results of this study indicate that
Pondok Modern Nurul Hidayah (PMNH) was officially established on January 1,
1989 by the initiator H. Harun, BA with the society. Pondok Modern Nurul
Hidayah (PMNH) continues to experience development both in terms of teachers,
students, infrastructure and curriculum. The efforts made by the pondok in
instilling Islamic values in the community are quite diverse, starting from
recitation, devotion to students and so on. The impact felt by the community is
quite positive, pondok is quite helpful in instilling Islamic values for the
community to create a religious society.
