Pemanfaatan Tepung Daun Kelor (Moringa Oleifera) Yang Difermentasi Dalam Pakan Untuk Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Nilem (Osteochilus Hasselti)
ABSTRACT
This research was conducted to investigate the replacement of soybean
meal (SBM) with fermented moringa leaf meal (FMLM) on growth and feed
efficiency of bonylip barb fingerlings. Fingerlings with an average weight of 4,8 ±
0.90 g were stocked at a rate of 25 fish/cage. Five experimental diets (30% crude
protein) were formulated with FMLM to replace 0% (FMLM0), 25% (FMLM25),
50% (FMLM50), 75% (FMLM75), and 100% (FMLM100) of SBM. Fish were
hand-feed three time daily at rates of 5% body weight per day for 56 days. Fish
fed diets FMLM75 showed the best growth rate and feed efficiency. Based on the
results, it could be concluded that FMLM could be used as a plant protein source
to replace up to 75% SBM in bonylib barb fingerlings.
