Pengaruh Pemberian Probiotik Rabal Pada Pakan Dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Laju Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus) Menggunakan Sistem Resirkulasi
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of rabal probiotics on feed with different doses on the growth rate of Asian restail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) using a recirculation system. This research was conducted in March – April 2023 at the Fisheries and Marine Faculty, Riau University. The study was conducted using an experimental method with five treatment levels and three replications. The treatment level applied in this study was P0 = without the addition of probiotics (control), P1 = addition of probiotics at a dose of 0,1 ml/g feed, P2 = addition of probiotics at a dose of 0,2 ml/g feed, P3 = addition of probiotics at a dose of dose of 0,3 ml/g of feed, P4 = addition of probiotics at a dose of 0,4 ml/g of feed. In this study, 480 Asian restail catfish seeds were used measuring 5-7 cm in size. The results showed that the rabal probiotic was able to influence the growth rate of Asian restail catfish seeds. The best dose in this study was 0,3 ml/g which resulted in an absolute weight of 9,88 g, an absolute length of 8,8 cm, a specific growth rate of 2,91%, feed efficiency of 53,81%, feed conversion ratio of 1,86%, and a survival rate of 92,3%. Water quality during the research supported the growth and survival of Asian restail catfish: 26,0-29,7 °C; pH 6,5-7,5; DO 4,6-6,5 mg/L, and ammonia 0,0378-0,1468 mg/L. The conclusion in this study was that the addition of rabal probiotics to feed was able to have a significant effect on the growth and survival of Asian restail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus).
