Manajemen Pendidikan Kecakapan Vokasional Di Pondok Pesantren Al-Fadhlah Kelurahan Minas Jaya Kecamatan Minas
The formulation of the problem in this study is how is the management of vocational skills education at the Al-Fadhlah Islamic Boarding School, Minas Jaya Village, Minas District? This study aims to determine the management of vocational skills education at the Al-Fadhlah Islamic Boarding School, Minas Village, Minas District. This research has 7 sub-focuses, namely 1) curriculum management 2) student management 3) management of educators and education personnel 4) management of facilities and infrastructure 5) financial management 6) public relations 7) special services.
After this research is conducted, it is expected to provide benefits. The benefits of this research are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. The theoretical benefits of the results of this study are expected to add insight into science, especially those related to the management of vocational skills education in boarding schools. And the practical benefits of the results of this study are expected to be useful for boarding schools, students, and for further researchers.
This research is a type of qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods. This research was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Al-Fadlah, Minas Jaya Village, Minas Subdistrict, which involved 5 (five) informants as research subjects, including 2 core informants and 3 control informants. The collection techniques in this research are document techniques, observation and interviews. While the analysis in the study includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and triangulation.
Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the management of vocational skills education at Al-Fadhlah Islamic Boarding School needs to be improved in order to achieve the goals of vocational skills

education effectively and efficiently. This can be seen from curriculum management which has not been implemented properly because in implementing the vocational skills education program there is no clear curriculum. Student management has been done well by planning and coaching, as well as evaluating student activities, but in practice it is not in accordance with the plans that have been made. Management of educators and education personnel still has shortcomings, this can be seen in the lack of vocational educators which has an impact on the implementation of a less than optimal vocational skills education program. Facilities and infrastructure management has been carried out well, this can be seen from the process of planning and procuring facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the identification of needs that support the vocational skills education program to be carried out properly. Financial management has been carried out properly through the preparation of financial planning and reporting so that the budget is allocated effectively and efficiently so that the implementation of the vocational skills education program is carried out properly. The relationship between the Al-Fadhlah Islamic Boarding School and the surrounding community is well established, this can be seen from the boarding school which actively participates in various activities in the community. Furthermore, the special service of counseling guidance that runs quite well where the boarding school management acts as a counselor in providing encouragement, motivation and solutions for students who experience obstacles and problems.
