Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Penggunaan Smartphone Pada Petani Padi Sawah Di Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau

The aims of this research are: (1) identifying the characteristics of rice farmers who use smartphones (2) analyzing access and function of using smartphones (3) analyzing factors that influence smartphone use. The data used is primary and secondary data, this research method is a survey method and the sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique, namely 120 farmers with the criteria of farmers using smartphones. Processed using descriptive analysis, Likert scale and PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this research are (1) farmer characteristics, namely smartphone ownership, gender, age, education, land area, farming experience, duration, quota/credit expenditure, support network, credit/quota support, cellphone shop availability and location coverage, family support. (2) access and function as a medium for information and entertainment is sufficient, as a medium for education is low. (3) perceived ease of use is significant to the perception of usefulness, perceived ease of use is significant to the attitude of use, attitude of use is significant to the behavior of wanting to use, factors that significantly influence the behavior of wanting to use, factors that significantly influence the perception of ease, factors that significantly influence the attitude of using, factors that have a significant influence on actual use, behavior of desire to use is significant on actual use
