This study aims to determine the effect of selling prices, production costs, and production amounts on the welfare level of oil palm farmers with farmers' income as an intervening variable in Tambusai Utara District.
The method of determining the type of sample in the study was using the Random Sampling method with the Yount formula until the number of samples was obtained as many as 110 oil palm farmers. The data in this study used primary data. The type of data analysis method in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is operated with the IBM SPSS AMOS 26 program.
The results of this study explain that there is a significant influence between selling prices, production costs, and production amounts on the income of oil palm farmers in Tambusai Utara District. And it is known that the variable income of farmers can be an intermediary between selling prices, production costs, and production amounts in influencing the welfare level of oil palm farmers in Tambusai Utara District. The effect (R2) caused by the variables of selling price, production cost, and amount of production on farmer income variables is 99%, while the remaining 1% can be understood by other factors outside the variables in this study. And the effect (R2) caused by the farmer income variable on the variable level of farmer welfare is 25%, while the remaining 75% can be understood by other factors outside the variables in this study.
