Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Video Animasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Di SMA Negeri 3 Kandis
Learning outcomes are numerical values achieved by students through tests or evaluations during the learning process. Learning outcomes refer to the abilities students gain after participating in educational activities that are aligned with educational goals. In most cases, these abilities are expressed in the form of numbers, letters, or statements obtained from exams or tests. The low test scores of students in class One solution that can overcome this problem is by using animated video learning media which is effective in improving student learning outcomes. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using animated video learning media in improving student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 3 Kandis.
The approach in this research is descriptive quantitative with an experimental design. The sample was determined using purposive sampling which met the criteria for the lowest daily test scores compared to other classes, namely class X4. The type of research data is quantitative data in the form of test scores on learning outcomes before and after the use of animated video learning media. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests and questionnaires. The test is carried out to see the value of posttest and pretest learning outcomes. Questionnaires are given to see students' self-evaluation activities in the learning process. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and paired sample t-test to analyze the effectiveness of using animated video learning media in improving student learning outcomes.
The research results show that there is effectiveness in using animated video learning media in improving student learning outcomes seen from the average scores before and after using animated video learning media. The pretest results showed that the average student score was 40.24 and only 5 students completed it. After using animated video learning media, the average posttest score for students became 74.67 and there was an increase in the number of students by 28 students. The percentage increase in learning outcomes was 85%. This shows that the use of animated video learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 3 Kandis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that the use of animated video learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers use animated video learning media as a valuable resource in the learning process because it has been proven to have a positive impact on student learning outcomes.
