Pengembangan Media pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Konstruktivisme Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa SMA
This research is motivated by the still low ability of students' mathematical understanding that can be seen from several previous studies, the low ability of students ' mathematical understanding is one of them because the Learning media at school is monotonous, which is only sourced from printed books and the absence of innovation from teachers to create learning media that can arouse the desire of students to want and be interested in building their own knowledge plus the expectation in the student's mindset that mathematics is a difficult lesson will increase the unwillingness of students to learn mathematics. One solution so that students are willing and interested in learning independently is to develop learning media that are interactive and based on constructivism theory in order to stimulate students to learn independently.
Based on this research aims to develop constructivism-based interactive learning media in order to facilitate the ability of mathematical understanding of students where interactive learning media have great potential to stimulate students to respond positively to learning materials delivered. Some previous studies also explain that the constructivist approach is able to encourage students to build knowledge independently so that students' understanding of mathematics becomes more attached and not just rote. The Learning Media developed consists of competencies, materials, exercises, discussions, and evaluations with indicators of mathematical understanding ability.
The development of this media uses the Plomp development model which consists of 3 phases of development, namely the preliminary investigation phase, the prototyping phase and the assessment phase. In the initial investigation phase, it was found that 50% of students were bored because learning was monotonous, in the design phase, interactive learning media were produced that were arranged in accordance with the syllabus and material.
Furthermore, in the assessment phase (assessment phase) the Learning media that has been produced is then validated by 3 validators after it is tested one-on-one to 3 students and then tested in small groups with lots of 10 students. The Data obtained in this study through validation sheets and practicalities sheets provided to students, teachers and validators.
Based on the results of the validity test by experts, Flip Pdf Interactive Learning media on matrix material was found to be valid with an average assessment of ≥3. The results of the teacher's response stated that Flip Pdf interactive learning media products are practically used with a percentage value of 93.96%.. While the results of the response of students who were tested on students of SMA N 5 Tapung stated that interactive learning media are very well used in the learning process with a percentage of 90%..
Thus the Flip Pdf Interactive Learning media developed has been declared valid and practical based on criteria that have been met from valid and practical requirements and can be used as a learning medium for students that can be used at any time and is able to help train students' mathematical understanding skills. So that it can be used as one of the Learning media in schools.
