Pemberian Berbagai Dosis Pupuk Npkmg Pada Produksi Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Pada Fase Transisi Dari Tbm Ke Tm
The oil palm plant (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is one of the prime crops which is the main agricultural commodity in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province. This research aims to determine the effect and best dose of NPKMg fertilizer in the transition phase from TBM to TM on generative growth, length of fruit maturity process and plant production. This research was carried out in the Agrotourism Village, West Rumbai District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for seven months from January 2023 to August 2023. This research was carried out experimentally using a non-factorial completely randomized design. The research consisted of 5 treatment doses of NPKMg fertilizer, namely: D1= 1,5 kg per plant/6 months, D2 = 2,0 kg per plant/6 months, D3 = 2,5 kg per plant/6 months, D4 = 3,0 kg per plant/6 months, D5 = 3,5 kg per plant/6 months. Each treatment was repeated 4 times, so that 20 experimental units were obtained. Each experimental unit consists of 2 sample plants so that the total number of sample plants used is 40 plants. The parameters observed were sheath rupture time, female flower receptivity time, male flower anthesis time, fruit maturity time, number of fresh fruit bunches per month per plant and weight of fresh fruit bunches per plant. The results of the research that has been carried out show that, giving NPKMg fertilizer at a dose of 2.5 kg per planting can increase production in terms of length of fruit maturity, increase the number of bunches and weight of bunches in oil palm plants in the transition phase from TBM to TM.
