Analisis Fenomena Learning Loss Pada Pembelajaran Biologi Sebagai Dampak Pandemi Di Sma Kota Pekanbaru
The pandemic that has passed in recent years is still a former for every individual, especially in education. The two-year study habit and culture of learning a new style that when learning is implemented as it should be for the generation of students learning during the pandemic. The changes that occur in these two periods, namely pandemic and post- pandemic, are accompanied by a phenomenon that also appears along with the pandemic, namely learning loss. This study aims to find out which factor is most likely to trigger the effects of the learning loss phenomenon. This study was conducted in April-June 2023 at 4 high schools in Pekanbaru, including SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru, MAN 1 Pekanbaru, SMAN Plus Riau Province and SMA IT-Al Ittihad Pekanbaru. This study includes a type of descriptive research using a survey method, where sampling uses a systematic sampling method. The data collection instrument is a closed queue that is distributed to 91 students from 4 schools and open interviews conducted to 10 biology teachers from each school. The results of this study are only limited to problems in learning that seem to change since normal learning is done, including learning motivation, concentration, literacy, discipline, decency and critical thinking. From the research, the results of learning motivation were obtained in the medium category (3,63), concentration in the medium category (3,44), moderate category literature (2,94), discipline in the medium category (3,49), politeness in the medium category (3,53) and high category critical thinking (1,99). That is, indicators with results are showing instability rather than their effect on the learning loss phenomenon and for indicators that show a high category, learning loss is most likely triggered by low critical thinking, which in other words can worsen the learning loss phenomenon that occurs in biology.
