Analisis Kebutuhan Perbekalan Melaut Pada Kapal Purse Seine Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Sibolga Provinsi Sumatera Utara

One of the fishing gear used in the archipelago fishing port Sibolga is Purse seine fishing gear. Purse seine is the most widely used fishing gear in Sibolga waters. Apart from fishing gear, the process of replenishing marine supplies is one of the important activities at fishing ports. This is because these activities will be decisive in the success of fishing operations by fishermen. The needs of marine supplies needed by fishermen include fuel, fresh water, ice filling, logistical needs in the form of foodstuffs and others. So it is necessary to identify the type of sea supply needs on the Purse seine ship, calculate the actual number of supplies needs, and determine the system for handling marine supplies on the Purse seine ship. This research was conducted in June-July 2023 at the Nusantara Sibolga Fishing Port. The method used in this study is a survey method by making direct observations in the field. The survey was conducted by conducting field observations and interviews. The results during the study required diesel as much as 75,004 tons / year, clean water as much as 112,908 tons / year, oil as much as 871,124 liters / year and consumption supplies as much as 1390 tons / trip. The suggestion from this study is that it is necessary to optimize the components of the amount of supplies and the cost of procuring sea supplies on the Purse seine ship.
