Perbedaan Jumlah Buah Buah Tandan Terhadap Hasil Dan Kualitas Minyak Kelapa Sawit Mentah Di Ptpn V Sei Galuh
Palm oil produces two main products, namely palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO). The level of yield and quality of palm oil produced is determined by the maturity level of the bunches. This research aims to obtain the best level of bunch maturity for the yield and quality of palm oil produced in accordance with the company's quality targets. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design with five treatments and three replications. The treatment in this research is the level of maturity with criteria that the outer fruit is loose on the outside of the bunch, namely P0 = 0 loose fruit bunch fresh unripe, P1 = 2 loose fruit bunch fresh ripe, P3 = 5 loose fruit bunch fresh ripe, P3 = 10 loose fruit bunch fresh ripe, P4 = 15 loose fruit bunches, overripe. The parameters observed were yield value, free fatty acid content, water content and dirt content. Data obtained were statistically analyzed using an analysis of variance and continued with the Duncan multiple range test (DMRT) at a 5% level. The best treatment was obtained at the ripe harvest criteria with mature fruit that was 5 loose fruit on the outside having an average yield of 25.07%, free fatty acids of 2.1%, water content of 0.18%, and dirt content of 0.020%.
