Pengaruh Strategi React (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) Terhadap Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Dan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas V Sdn 65 Pekanbaru
This study aimed to determine the influence of the REACT learning strategy on the mathematical connection abilities and problem-solving skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. This research was quantitative in nature, employing a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Group Control Group Design. Two classes were involved, with Class VA designated as the experimental group and Class VB as the control group. The experimental group received treatment, while the control group did not. Based on the analysis of hypothesis testing conducted, the mathematical connection ability yielded a significant result (2-tailed) of 0.043 < 0.05, thus, Ha was accepted, and H0 was rejected, indicating that the REACT learning strategy had an influence on mathematical connection abilities. Meanwhile, the significant result (2-tailed) for problem-solving skills was 0.013 < 0.05, hence, Ha was accepted, and H0 was rejected, indicating an influence of the REACT learning strategy on problem-solving skills. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the REACT learning strategy (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring) on the mathematical connection abilities and problem-solving skills of fifth-grade elementary school students.
